We would like to invite you to the Kirk House Annual Sale, which will be connected with the Grand Opening of the newly remodeled garden, which will take place this Saturday 6th August. The garden will be officially opened by the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Alderman Brian Kingston at 2pm. The event will be accompanied by a range of stalls, game and activities for the whole family.

The much anticipated remodel of the front Garden contract was appointed to Beechill landscapes. The contractor started works on the 20th June 2016. Prior to works commencing, Choice housing removed a tree that was beyond salvage and cleared the overgrown space.

Andy Pollak (a former religious affairs correspondent, education correspondent, assistant news editor and Belfast reporter with the Irish Times) called into BCM HQ this morning before setting off on a walk from Belfast to Dublin. Andy will be walking along paths and back roads and talking to people he meets along the way. Why? Firstly, he wants to write a book about it; secondly, he wants to fund-raise for homeless people.

A big thank you to our wonderful staff, who organise a variety of fundraising activities and so eagerly devote their time to raise funds for their projects.

Congratulations to Ruth from Housing Support for Older People, dungannon and all those who helped her organise a Fundraising Table Quiz last Saturday, 25th June. The event was very successful and thanks to all the supporters it raised £500 towards Housing Support in Dungannon.

Andy Pollak, Journalist, researcher, editor and expert on North-South cooperation in Ireland, will be walking from Belfast to Dublin in the first fortnight of July along paths and back roads and talking to people he meets along the way.
Why? "Firstly, I want to write a book about it; secondly, I want to fund-raise for two homeless charities, Depaul and Belfast Central Mission."
