It's Giving Tuesday today! Why don't you help a vulnerable young care leaver from our Supported Housing Project and donate £5 towards a coat/boots/gloves, so that they can feel warm during this winter season.
Text COAT16 £5 to 70070 to donate and make a difference today.

We are delighted to inform you that 'The Giving Tree' will be taking place at Marks & Spencer, Donegall Place, Belfast for 17th consecutive year. You can come round and donate a toy or gift to a local child from Monday 28th November- Saturday 10th December. This great initiative is organised in co-operation with the Society of St Vincent de Paul and M&S. We would like to say thank you to the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Alderman Brian Kingston for launchig this year's 'Giving Tree'.

We are pleased to announce that we finally have the total for Sheelagh's Camino Pilgrim Walk in aid of Copelands, Dementia and Nursing Care. We were receiving a lot of donations in support of the walk over the past two months and on behalf of both BCM and Sheelagh we would like to thank everybody who contributed. The final total raised is £2180.31 including Gift Aid.

BCM’s Christmas programme has a long history of helping the most vulnerable members of the local communities. The programme proved to be much needed with people looking for our help every year. In 2015 BCM distributed over 3,070 toy and gift parcels to children and young people and 1,680 food parcels to older people and families who needed them most.

The 'Staircase to Memories' Intergenerational Event brought back a lot of memories and nostalgia. The residents at Kirk House together with Tullycarnet Youth Project created a unique experience for all those who attended the event. The exhibition was impressive with old photographs, posters, documents and memorabilia being displayed, but the Fashion Show was the highlight of the afternoon.

Here is a snapshot of the event for those of you who could not attend it.
