Throughout 2019, BCM (Belfast Central Mission) is celebrating 130 years of community engagement, support and working with people all over Northern Ireland to improve their lives.

Families, residents and visitors to the Ards Peninsula will be in for a treat this August with the inaugural Copelands Summer Fete taking place in Donaghadee on the Bank Holiday Saturday, 24th August.

One of Northern Ireland’s oldest charities, Belfast Central Mission (BCM), is building ‘Copelands: Dementia, Nursing and Residential Care’ outside Millisle, which will provide practice-leading care for up to 60 residents and is due to open early 2020.

Parents’ Support project celebrated 20 years of community care with a bumper day of family fun, food and friendship.

Initially conceived as a pilot project in 1999, the Parents’ Support project continues to help young mums and dads who have previously come from the care system, with the intention of breaking the cycle and providing opportunity and hope for the families involved.
