Supporting those who need it most

We are #thinkingINSIDEthebox - are you?

We are #thinkingINSIDEthebox - are you?

Ahead of Homeless Awareness Week from 6-10 December, we want to highlight an issue that affects so many that are having to move, whether on a regular basis or from temporary to supported accommodation or vice versa.

Black plastic bags are being used to move all their belongings and we believe there is a better option for them.

We are #thinkingINSIDEthebox and hoping to provide as many clear plastic boxes for individuals or families who need them and we need your help!

Whether you can donate boxes for us to distribute among our projects and those we work with, or perhaps you can deliver them directly to your local project working in your community, or if you simply want to donate some money for us to purchase the boxes on your behalf we would be more than grateful.

The projects that would benefit the most from being able to provide these boxes to their service users include:

Supported Housing:

Tafelta Rise (Magherafelt)

Riverside Place (Bangor)

Grampian (east Belfast)

Thomas Street (Dungannon)

Housing Support (older & younger people)

Greater Belfast

Ards and North Down

Southern Trust area

Newry

Magherafelt, Armagh & Dungannon

For more information and to donate please email info@belfastcentralmission.org with details of how and what you can donate and which, if any, particular project you wish to support.

Thank you.
