Supporting those who need it most

3 working mums challenged the 9-5 for charity

HUGE congratulations to Maria, Claire and Caroline who have completed their 'Triathlon with a Difference'.  On Thursday 31st March 2016, Maria (Project Worker at BCM's Parent Support Project, Dungannon), her sister Claire and friend Caroline took the day off work and swapped the typical work day for a Triathlon with a difference! ... Maria swam for a FULL work day and Claire and Caroline ran and cycled for a FULL work day! They started their individual activities at 9.30am and finished the day at 5pm taking the typical work breaks ie. a morning break, lunch break and afternoon break.

To date they have exceeded their target and raised an amazing £1,110 towards the Parent Support Project. Thank you to all those who have donated so generously and to the rest of the Dungannon staff team (and one of the young parents with her son) who popped in to the leisure centre during the day to offer support. A special thanks to Dungannon Leisure Centre who hosted the event and were so helpful.

If you haven't yet donated, it's not too late to do so. Just go to https://www.justgiving.com/Maria-Killen
