Support Our Work
Introduction
Aside from supporting BCM through volunteering and fundraising, there are lots of ways to be advocates. One of the most significant forms of support that we get is simply the sharing of our services to those that need help. If you would like a printed resource pack detailing our services, please get in touch via the contact page. Alternatively, please get in touch if you require terms of reference or contacts for our individual services.

On the portal, you can leave any instruction or additional information that we may need to process your donation in the intended way. Fundraising
BCM has been so faithfully bolstered over many years by the generosity of individuals seeking to raise funds in support of our work. If you have an idea to host an event or fundraiser, why not get in touch today and we will help you make it a reality.
Companies and their teams can also get involved with our charity by raising vital funds to help us support people at their point of need in Northern Ireland. Each year we run annual campaigns and appeals that target specific needs within our user groups, and your combined generosity makes a massive difference.
We realise that for many organisations, doing the right thing by our communities is of central importance, and that it doesn’t stop at fundraising. Belfast Central Mission works with businesses and community and voluntary organisations to provide a two way channel towards delivering greater community impact.
Examples from recent collaborations include:
- Hagan Homes housing partnership: BCM were able to employ an additional support worker for their young people’s supported housing project.
- The NI Civil Service: who regularly help to coordinate our Christmas Giving Tree Appeal whilst also providing a team of volunteers.
- The Linen Quarter Business Improvement District: have hosted corporate fundraisers and awareness events to support BCM and our Puddleducks Social Enterprise.
- Direct Support from The Lady Accountant and FPM McCann: donating towards our Supported Housing project in Magherafelt.

Corporate social Responsibility Projects
If you have a vision to do something amazing within your organisation for the local community, we are keen to hear from you. In the past we have been supported by a myriad of organisations, offering a wide array of skills and logistical support within our projects.
Get in touch today to discuss:
- What you might be able to do- think about your specialist skills.
- When you wish to deliver an organisational response to need.
- Where you want to do it and by what team.
We will work to match ideas with what we have going on. Please remember that as much as we want to, we can’t facilitate all requests, and we ask for a minimum of two months notice to facilitate a new collaboration or project.
The best starting point is always a simple email to ask us what support we could use at that given time. Get in touch today via the link below.

Legacy Giving
When we look back across the BCM story, there are many acts of individual kindness that have defined the idea of legacy– leaving a lasting mark for good on the lives of others.
Acts of generosity take many different forms, and one of the most impactful ways to support the work of BCM is to leave a gift in a will, also known as a legacy. No matter the scale, every legacy gift leaves a lasting mark on our services.
There are differing forms of legacy giving, and varying financial considerations that we ask you to consider. We do not offer any legally binding advice on the making of wills, and we advise that your starting point should be through your own legal advisor when making your will.
You can find out more via the leaflet below, and if you would like to discuss how your support can make a difference for BCM, then please get in touch via the button below.
