This summer, BCM is seeking your help to fund direct interventions within our Parent Support Services. Your donations will directly help young families and children often experiencing poverty and trauma during early childhood- a vital developmental stage for lifelong wellbeing. Our service user families are also often beset with housing issues, isolation and poor mental health.
We often encounter young parents who need support to click the reset button- making positive decisions regarding complex circumstances. We provide support through two committed regional teams in North Down and Dungannon, who provide advice on money and household management, as well as parenting skills to help children thrive at home and in school. Sometimes, direct aid to pay a bill or prevent a rent arrear is the most impactful step that we can take alongside our guidance.
