New BCM Social Value Report Published

What happens when support arrives at the right time?

A young person finds a safe place to call home. An older person stays independent for longer. A family avoids crisis. Someone struggling with their mental health gets the support they need.
These moments matter. And now we can put a value on that impact.
We're proud to share the findings of our new Social Return on Investment Report, independently carried out by Rose Regeneration, which found that for every £1 invested in BCM, £5.06 of social value is generated
Over the last year, our services created more than £35.5 million in social value across Northern Ireland through housing support, family services, residential care, counselling, homelessness prevention and community support.
Some highlights include:
🏠 Helping older people remain independent in their own homes generated £13.3 million in social value.
👨‍👩‍👧 Supporting families generated £7.5 million in social value
🤝 Preventing homelessness, reducing poverty and improving wellbeing changed lives while reducing pressure on public services.
The report is full of powerful stories that remind us that real impact isn't just measured in pounds and pence, but in dignity, stability, hope and opportunity. ❤️
A huge thank you to our staff, volunteers, supporters and partners who make this work possible every day.
