We are delighted to be able to bring you our final plans for Copelands, Dementia, Nursing and Residential Care. The new design has been submitted to the Planning Office and the fundraising continues apace to raised the final amount needed. Click here to read more and to download our new information brochure.
A big big thank you to Charlene Loughran, a daughter of Maureen Loughran from Supported Housing in Dungannon, who raised the amazing sum of £250 by running a doggy competition on line, via her dog grooming business Country Clips. We are so grateful and this money will allow us to organise activities/outings for our young people that otherwise would not be possible.
BCM recognises that all our staff , volunteers and our congregation, have the potential to encounter someone living with dementia, and it is important that we have confidence that we are all able to reflect an awareness of dementia both in and outside of work, home and church.
We're proud to confirm that 279 people have been trained as Dementia Friends by BCM since 2016 including our staff, congregation, residents of BCM Kirk House and their relatives, local school children, firemen and churches etc.
We would like to say a big thank you to Pizza Jazz NI for your hospitality and for hosting a wonderful outing for our young people from Supported Housing Project in Belfast. The young people really enjoyed the night and the staff made us feel very welcome and they couldn’t do enough for us.
