Childhaven Conference Centre

Childhaven is situated on the A2 coast road between Donaghadee and Millisle and overlooks a pebbled beach and the Irish Sea. Surrounded by the lush green countryside with seashore walks and rock pools close by, Childhaven is in a serene and idyllic setting and provides a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Within walking distance of the nearest towns it allows access to cultural and sporting activities while its own spacious grounds provide areas for outdoor pursuits.

The Centre is fully equipped to cater for conferences and training courses, which can be residential, and clients find it a relaxed yet sophisticated environment to meet their requirements. Regular customers include church groups, self-help groups and wedding parties. Outdoor activities are now available on site with Mobile Team Adventure (an exciting and innovative company, specialising in Outdoor Pursuits and Team Building). A 20% discount is available for groups staying at Childhaven.

There is a small, friendly and efficient team of staff who offer visitors a personal, professional and flexible housekeeping service with award-winning, healthy home cooking.

Childhaven's facilities include:

• Residential accommodation for up to forty people, ranging from double rooms to dormitory style rooms.
• Two conference rooms and five syndicate rooms
• Complimentary audio-visual equipment and overhead projector
• Multi purpose recreation rooms
• Photocopying and fax machine (on request and at an additional cost)
