The Giving Tree 2011
Santa is joined by representatives of Marks and Spencer Donegall Place, Belfast, to help launch the BCM (Belfast Central Mission) & SVP Giving Tree.
This is the 12thyear that M&S have supported this cross community joint venture between local charities BCM and SVP. All you have to do is take a tag from the tree at M&S and buy a gift to suit that child, then return it to the box beside the Giving Tree, the gifts will then be distributed to families across Belfast.
The Giving Tree runs from Nov 28-Dec 10 at M&S Donegall Place, Belfast, if you are interested in volunteering at BCM's week (Dec 5-10) please contact Lorna Henry or Phil Allely at BCM HQ to see available dates and time slots.
From BCM’s foundation in 1889, volunteers have played a vital role in the life of the Mission and this remains true today. In fact this is an expanding area of our work and the contribution made by our volunteers has been calculated as an amazing 11,900 volunteering hours in the year Jan - Dec 2010 alone...
