When Anna’s* family was first referred to EAGLE the relationship between mum and dad was very strained and a break up seemed inevitable.  This was mostly due to the difficulties the family had faced since Anna’s diagnosis of ASD.

Both mum and dad attended Parent Training for 6 weeks and Parent Support Group regularly each month. During Parent Training EAGLE introduced visual interventions into the home, enabling the family to communicate with Anna more effectively. Anna’s mum told us that the training was invaluable and she now realised she was not alone. She also stated that it was fantastic because her husband understands Anna better and the relationship between the whole family has vastly improved.
